The ESY program runs from late June through July, providing services Monday to Thursday each week, with a focus on exceptional educational support. You'll participate in a comprehensive orientation and setup window prior to the start of instruction. Your classroom assignment—matched to your skills and experience—will be provided in late spring. While every effort is made to place teachers close to home, assignments are ultimately determined by student needs and school requirements.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification or an Emergency Permit with active enrollment in a certification program. Demonstrated experience or confidence working with students who have moderate to severe needs and managing challenging behaviors. Strong commitment to attendance and punctuality; reliable transportation required. Must live within a 35-minute commute to assigned school location. Full availability for ESY schedule (June 23 to July 30, 2026), including setup and instructional days. Ability to provide professional references and proof of credentials.
