Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, working with both elementary and secondary grades. As the upcoming school year begins on August 20 and concludes June 4, this position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents in a vibrant educational setting near Yerington, NV. With a manageable caseload of 55-60 students, you will have the ability to form strong, supportive relationships and track meaningful progress throughout the academic year.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active or eligible SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) welcomed Open to SLPs with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology School-based SLP experience preferred, but open to healthcare or teletherapy backgrounds Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to students ranging from elementary to secondary grade levels Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with educational teams Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough records in compliance with school requirements Work within varying school hours (elementary: 8:30-3:15; secondary: 7:30-2:15) Exhibit flexibility and empathy in a dynamic school environment Candidates with a genuine passion for student growth and communication development, who are eager to collaborate in a supportive school setting, are encouraged to apply.
