Every day is a chance to experience different approaches to therapy, collaborate on innovative care plans, and observe varied leadership styles within the school system. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 55-60 students across both elementary and secondary school settings. The school year begins August 20 and runs through June 4, ideal for those who value having their summers free to continue traveling or relax. Elementary school hours are generally 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, while secondary hours are from 7:30 am to 2:15 pm, providing flexibility depending on your preferred schedule.
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (required) Experience in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy preferred Familiarity with both elementary and secondary school populations Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy in educational settings Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Manage a diverse caseload and document progress effectively Adapt interventions to meet the needs of students
