Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact this summer as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in a dynamic educational environment. This rewarding contract opportunity focuses on providing support during the Extended School Year (ESY) program from June 16 to July 10. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.—ideal for professionals seeking a short-term role that offers both flexibility and the chance to work directly with pediatric populations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license in the state of California ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language services, ideally within a school setting Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize each student's learning opportunities Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress throughout the ESY session Collaborate with educators and caregivers to create supportive, language-rich classroom environments Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students Benefits of this
