Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a significant impact in the lives of students by bringing your expertise in speech-language pathology to an educational setting near Staunton, IL. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals who are passionate about empowering children, whether onsite or through teletherapy, while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates bring solid experience or a strong foundation in providing speech and language services within pediatric or school environments. Both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and seasoned SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply, as mentorship and continuous professional development are valued aspects of this role.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current status as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Experience with pediatric populations, especially in educational or healthcare settings Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and measure progress toward goals Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development Utilize technology for documentation and virtual therapy as needed Why consider this opportunity?
