Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role supporting preschool through 6th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year as a contract Speech Language Pathologist. Working closely with the Director of Special Education, you'll provide in-person, full-time services to help students reach their communication goals in an engaging, school-based environment. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows seeking hands-on, impactful work with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
What We're Looking For:
Current Washington state SLP license Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations—schools experience strongly preferred Commitment to serving students with special education needs and supporting their families Skills in assessment, evaluation, and consultation, including all phases of special education processes Expertise in building positive relationships with staff, families, and community partners Willingness to infuse your caseload with creativity, humor, and positivity Aptitude for effective communication and collaboration across teams Special consideration for experience in early learning or working with atypical impairments

Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and develop tailored intervention plans Direct and consultative service delivery for students' IEPs Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student progress Maintain compliant documentation and contribute to eligibility determinations Implement effective screening and identification strategies for speech and language needs Enjoy the
