Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through 6th grade in a vibrant educational setting. As an SLPA, you'll make an impact by collaborating with speech-language pathologists to help children develop critical communication skills. This full-time role is ideal for professionals who bring both school and healthcare SLPA experience, and it's particularly suited for those who are bilingual in Spanish, ready to bridge communication and help all learners thrive during the 26-27 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Credentials and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working in school settings and/or healthcare environments as an SLPA Competence in serving students from early childhood through elementary grades Bilingual in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish Collaborative spirit, organizational skills, and a passion for fostering student growth
Role Responsibilities:
Support SLPs in planning and delivering speech-language therapy to preschool-6th grade students Implement treatment plans to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication Assist with screenings, assessments, daily therapy sessions, and progress documentation Foster an inclusive learning environment for bilingual and diverse learners Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for seamless student support
