Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to find their voices through your expertise as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract opportunity is designed for an SLP who is passionate about supporting children's communication skills in a school-based setting. Bring your enthusiasm for pediatric speech-language pathology to a welcoming educational environment and help shape brighter academic and social outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Demonstrated experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric settings. Familiarity with conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering engaging therapy. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families. Active state licensure in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain.
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress and communication with all stakeholders. Conduct screenings and consult on strategies to promote inclusive classroom environments. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.
