Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity shaping the future for young learners near Dingmans Ferry, PA. A part-time, Contract Speech-Language Pathologist is needed onsite for the 26/27 school year, working with children ages 3-5. This role is perfect for professionals who value collaboration, flexibility, and a supportive work environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure and CCC required Proven experience providing school-based SLP services, particularly with early childhood populations Strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children ages 3-5 Commitment to fostering communication skill development in a nurturing, engaging manner Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to create individualized therapy plans while collaborating with faculty, families, and other specialists
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of 40-50 preschool-aged children Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans in accordance with
IEP/IFSP
requirements Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services, progress, and communications Partner closely with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary staff to support student success Adjust interventions and schedules as needed to meet individual and group needs Participate in meetings, trainings, and team discussions to further educational goals
