Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The physician provides day-to-day management and medical care to the patients of the Center and those in hospital. The physician is responsible to the Chief Medical Officer for exercising each of several functions described in this position description and is accountable, through the Chief Medical Officer, for the delivery and quality of the medical care services provided to patients at the Center and its satellites. The physician will serve as an important part of the management team.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following but are not limited to: Serve as staff physician for the Center and its satellites. Assists with the establishment of health care standards and protocols for each service described in the Center's health care plan and to ensure quality of service; to assist with development of the Center's health care plan with the assistance of staff to ensure that all goals and objectives are outlined. Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the patients seen in the manner that ensure effective and efficient performance. Operate within the parameters of a written position description that complies with the Center's policies, rules, and regulations. Establishes appropriate systems to assure quality of patient care. See that the Quality Assurance Protocols, HIPAA, Corporate Compliance and CLIA standards are adhered to. Establishes appropriate systems to assure the quality of patient care. Maintains all Federal initiatives pertinent to patient care and participates in the process of budget development and in financial management decisions as they affect clinical activities. Participates regularly in administrative meetings as a member of the Center's management team. Physician agrees to supervise the clinical activities provided by the nurse practitioners and act as medical preceptor and supervise any pediatric students on rotation. Additionally, assist with supervision of medical assistants.QUALIFICATIONS

Have successfully completed residency training and be board eligible or board certified in Pediatric care. Successfully completed medical training at a four-year accredited medical school and received an M.D. or D.O. degree. Possess appropriate hospital privileges if required.Similar remote jobs
