Per Diem Staff Pharmacist

The pharmacy experiences a moderate prescription volume of 300-400 scripts per day and operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and verify prescriptions in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. Provide patient counseling in a compassionate and professional manner, particularly for a behavioral health population. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy management. Utilize Enterprise Rx pharmacy software; training will be provided to ensure proficiency. Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures. Manage inventory and dispense medications safely within a closed-door setting.

Qualifications:

Recent experience as a licensed pharmacist with up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy best practices. Local to the area or willing to work PRN/part-time hours accommodating the per diem schedule. Open to training on Enterprise Rx software to effectively manage workflow. Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
