Santa Clara, CA Job Details Temporary | Contract $22 - $24 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications English Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description About the Opportunity We are seeking participants for a paid, in-person video recording study taking place in the Santa Clara Valley, California area. Participants will complete everyday household activities in a home-like environment while being recorded using equipment provided by the project team. The recordings will support the research and development of technology designed to better recognize common household activities. Responsibilities During a single 2-3 hour session, participants will: Complete a variety of everyday household tasks by following simple instructions. Perform activities naturally and at a comfortable pace. Follow instructions provided by the onsite project team. Repeat individual activities if a recording needs to be retaken for quality purposes.
Example activities may include:
Bringing groceries into the home and putting them away. Preparing a simple meal using standard kitchen appliances. Making coffee or tea. Eating while watching television. Cleaning the kitchen and taking out the trash. Using a laptop or mobile phone. Writing notes by hand. Folding or ironing laundry. Watering household plants. Reading or relaxing. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Fluent in English. Available to attend one in-person session in the Santa Clara Valley, California. Comfortable being recorded on video during the session. Able to follow simple instructions and complete routine household activities independently. No previous experience required. What to Expect One paid recording session lasting approximately 2-3 hours. All recording equipment is provided. Sessions take place in a professionally prepared home-like setting, not in participants' personal homes. Participants will review and sign a consent form before taking part in the study. Recordings will be used for research and technology development purposes in accordance with the project's consent and privacy procedures.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
