Lead Role - Ethan (Sci-Fi/Horror) We are seeking a White male actor, mid-20s to late 30s, for the lead role of Ethan in an upcoming short sci-fi/horror film. Character Ethan is currently out of work and relying on his girlfriend. He is a fundamentally good person who has not yet found his place in the world. Performance requirements The role features minimal scripted dialogue. The actor will primarily tell the story through physical acting—facial expressions, body language, and occasional spoken thoughts. Strong ability to convey distress, fear, and pain is essential. Average to athletic These specifications are required to match the physical look of the stunt performer doubling the character. The stunt performer will work under heavy makeup with his face fully obscured; the actor cast as Ethan will serve as the visible face of the character. Project & Compensation This is an amateur film. The role pays a flat rate of $600 for an expected 4-night shoot. Shoot dates Late September (exact dates to be determined; we can work with availability).
