Acting Coach Penn Talent Actors Academy and Entertainment Las Vegas, NV Job Details Part-time $35 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Behavior management Youth programs teaching experience Personal service experience with children Experience working with children Working with youth Full Job Description One-Day Substitute Acting Coach - Youth & Teen Classes Job Overview We are seeking a professional and experienced Acting Coach to serve as a one-day substitute instructor for our Youth and Teen Acting Classes. This position will initially be for one class day, with the potential to become an ongoing substitute position based on performance, availability, and fit with the academy. The ideal candidate has experience working with children and teenagers and understands how to make acting instruction engaging and professional. Responsibilities Lead scheduled Youth and Teen Acting Classes using the provided lesson plan or curriculum. Conduct acting exercises, scene work and improvisation. Help young actors develop confidence, character development, emotional expression, and performance skills. Maintain a positive, supportive, and professional classroom environment. Keep students engaged and manage classroom activities effectively. Maintain class timing and ensure planned activities are completed. Communicate important student or class updates to the academy after the session. Qualifications Previous experience as an acting coach, acting instructor, actor, director, or theater/film professional. Experience working with children and/or teenagers in an acting, theater, educational, or performance setting. Strong understanding of acting techniques, scene work, and improvisation. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to connect with young performers and create an engaging learning environment. Film, television, theater, or on-camera experience preferred.
