Role Description The Santa Claus Performer seasonal work is an on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV, supporting a holiday-themed event. The performer will portray Santa Claus in a professional and family-friendly manner, including greeting guests, posing for photos, and participating in scripted and improvised interactions. Daily tasks include maintaining costume and props, rehearsing appearances, following event schedules, and collaborating with other staff and performers. Qualifications Performance and presentation skills, including basic acting, improvisation, and comfort engaging with diverse audiences of all ages. Listen to children's holiday wishes and engage in friendly, age-appropriate conversations. Professionalism and participation in live event environments, including reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow direction from supervisors. Customer service and interpersonal skills to create welcoming, memorable guest experiences and handle crowd interactions with patience and respect. Physical stamina to wear costumes, stand or sit for extended periods, and move safely in busy event spaces. Stay updated with Santa Claus character and story. Ability to maintain character integrity, including appropriate language, demeanor, and behavior consistent with a family-focused production. Willingness to learn basic event and production protocols, such as safety procedures, backstage etiquette, and schedule coordination. Flexible work hours for seasonal, evening, and weekend shifts as required by event schedules in Las Vegas.
