Job Description

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Excelsior Railbikes, LLC Railbike Guide Seasonal, Hourly Position Railbike Guides are responsible for providing safety information about railbike operations prior to each departure and directs patrons in getting on and off the railbike and assisting children and older patrons, as necessary. Incumbents also arrange and clean the railbikes prior to rides. This position reports to the Railbike Manager The guides are responsible for: Providing safety information and ride details Checking in guests prior to each departure Pedaling a railbike on multiple 6-mile round trip rides Responding to customer inquiries Maintaining a professional manner with all guests Cleaning and maintaining the station and loading area
LOCATION
Reporting location is in Tupper Lake, New York.
REQUIREMENTS
This is a seasonal, non-exempt, hourly paid position. A successful candidate will enjoy outdoor work, be physically fit, and enjoy working with the public. A current driver's license is required. Railbike Guides will be required to attend training prior to the beginning of operations. Training time will be paid. CPR/Basic First Aid training is preferred but not required
COMPENSATION
• Hourly rate: $18.50/ hour
