Pay:
$25•30 per hour, based on experience
Position:
Part-Time Responsibilities Choreograph competitive routines for dancers of various ages and skill levels Teach and reinforce proper dance technique Clean and prepare routines for competition Provide corrections and constructive feedback to dancers Help dancers develop performance quality, musicality, flexibility, strength, and confidence Work collaboratively with our Competition Team staff Prepare dancers to meet competition-level performance expectations Qualifications Previous dance teaching and/or choreography experience required Must be able to teach technique Experience working with competitive dancers preferred Must be versatile and comfortable teaching/choreographing a wide variety of dance styles , including Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, and other styles Strong knowledge of proper dance terminology and technique Ability to work with children and teens at different skill levels Dependable, professional, creative, and able to work well as part of a team Must be available for scheduled rehearsals and additional competition preparation as needed Compensation $25•30 per hour , depending on experience, teaching ability, and choreography background.
