Job Description
Avalon School of the Arts is West Michigan's largest performing arts school! We offer classes in all genres of dance as well as music lessons. We are seeking highly qualified dance instructors to join our team. Our faculty works as a creative team and often collaborates creatively. Two years teaching experience is required, but we will train the correct candidate who lacks experience but possesses the right qualities for our team. Candidates must be dependable, hard working, punctual, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to commit for the whole school year - September through June. We are specifically seeking instructors with experience in multiple genres and are comfortable working with all age & ability levels. Candidates should provide a resume which includes dance training and education and at least two personal/professional references.
