Requirements Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, particularly Jazz & Contemporary, and possess the ability to engage students . This role involves developing and implementing dance curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Dance Instructor will work closely with students to enhance their skills, confidence, and love for dance. Duties Develop and implement engaging dance curricula tailored to intermediate/advanced students. Teach various dance styles with a focus on technique including Jazz and Contemporary. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a supportive learning atmosphere. Provide individualized attention and tutoring to students as needed. Organize and lead rehearsals for year end recital. Collaborate with other instructors on lesson planning and curriculum development. Maintain a safe and clean studio environment conducive to learning. Requirements Proven experience in teaching dance. Background in curriculum development and lesson planning is highly desirable. Experience working with teens and adults in educational or recreational settings. Strong classroom management skills. A passion for dance and the ability to inspire others through teaching.
