Looking for a start date of Tuesday, September 8th, 2026 About the Studio New Jenneration Dance Company is an established dance studio with 8 years of experience dedicated to developing confident, skilled, and passionate dancers. As National Champions , we take pride in our commitment to excellence, teamwork, and hard work. Our studio thrives on togetherness, diversity, sportsmanship, and a strong sense of community . We provide opportunities to participate in annual recitals, competitive dance, conventions, and specialized training , allowing dancers to build both technical skills and performance experience. We believe every dancer has something unique to contribute, and we strive to create an environment where students can challenge themselves, celebrate one another, and grow both on and off the stage. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Hip Hop Instructor/Choreographer to inspire and engage students through energetic dance instruction and creative choreography. In this role, you will lead dance classes, develop engaging curricula, and foster a positive environment that encourages artistic expression, teamwork, and confidence. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with diverse age groups, possesses a strong background in dance and performing arts, and is committed to nurturing students' creative talents through innovative teaching methods. Following:
Tuesdays between 6:30-8:30 PM Thursdays 6:00-7:00 PM Responsibilities Design and implement engaging hip hop dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels Lead energetic dance classes that emphasize technique, rhythm, and performance skills Develop original choreography for performances, showcases, or competitions Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with different learning styles or special educational requirements Provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic growth and confidence-building efforts Skills Extensive experience in dance instruction, choreography, and performing arts education Strong knowledge of hip hop dance styles, techniques, and cultural history Proven ability to develop curriculum and lesson plans that inspire creativity and skill development Experience working with children or youth in educational or extracurricular settings Excellent classroom management skills to maintain discipline while fostering enthusiasm Familiarity with theater arts, musical instruments, or other performing arts disciplines is a plus Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners, including those with special needs or early childhood education backgrounds Strong communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively Knowledge of behavior management strategies and childhood development principles Join us as a Hip Hop Instructor/Choreographer if you're ready to energize young minds through movement!
