Job Description
Seeking Lipscomb Academy School of Dance assistant. Assistant will assist the teacher in dance class, no dance experience necessary. Must be a current Lipscomb University Student. May be federal work study eligible.
Assistant will:
- Arrive at lower school by 2:15. The 5 year olds and kindergarteners get out of class at 2:30.
- Gather students in the hallway near their classrooms
- Help them change in the restroom and hang out with them in the lower school cafeteria lobby until the class begins. Help female 5 year old through 3rd grade students change out of school uniforms and into their dance attire for class at the lower school.
- Assist the dance teacher in any way she needs during class (mostly with class management and taking dancers to the bathroom if they need to go during class).
- Make sure dancers walk to their parents at the other end of the school building when class is over.
