Job Overview We are seeking a creative and passionate Choreographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and the ability to design and teach choreography for musical theatre performances. This role involves working closely with dancers of all skill levels, fostering their growth, and creating engaging routines that captivate audiences. Responsibilities Develop original choreography for performances, competitions, and showcases. Teach dance routines to students in a clear and engaging manner. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create cohesive performances. Provide constructive feedback to dancers to enhance their skills and performance quality. Organize rehearsals, ensuring all dancers understand their roles and responsibilities. Stay updated on current dance trends and techniques to incorporate into choreography. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression among students. Skills Proficiency in various dance styles including Ballet, Musical Theater Jazz, Contemporary, Stage Movement. Strong teaching skills with experience working with students of different ages and skill levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey ideas and instructions. Ability to inspire and motivate dancers while fostering teamwork and collaboration. Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize unique choreography that aligns with performance goals. Strong organizational skills to manage rehearsals, schedules, and performance details effectively.
