Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a genuine love for teaching students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging dance lessons that foster creativity, discipline, and a love for movement. The Dance Instructor will work closely with students to develop their skills and confidence in various dance styles. Duties Design and implement comprehensive dance lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Teach various dance styles, ensuring students understand techniques, rhythms, and choreography. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Organize and participate in recitals, performances, and competitions to showcase student achievements. Collaborate with other instructors to develop curriculum that aligns with educational goals. Maintain a safe and clean studio environment for all students. Experience Previous experience in dance instruction is preferred, with a focus on childhood development or early childhood education being a plus. Strong background in lesson planning and curriculum development related to dance or physical education. Experience working with children and adults in an educational or recreational setting. Skills in additional areas such as cooking or sewing can be beneficial but are not required. A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students through movement.
