In this role, you will design engaging dance curricula, foster a positive learning environment, and nurture students' artistic growth. Your expertise will help cultivate a love for dance while developing technical proficiency, creativity, and confidence in your students. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the world of performing arts and youth education. Duties Develop comprehensive ballet curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of choreography, technique, and performance skills Lead engaging ballet classes that emphasize proper form, posture, and movement while fostering creativity and self-expression Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all students Incorporate music, theatrical elements, and visual arts into lessons to enhance the overall dance experience Collaborate with other arts educators to integrate cross-disciplinary projects such as theater productions or visual arts showcases Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and set personalized goals for improvement Plan and organize student performances, recitals, or showcases that highlight their growth and celebrate their achievements Qualifications Proven experience in teaching ballet and choreography with a strong understanding of dance instruction techniques Background in curriculum development for dance or performing arts programs Experience working with children, youth programs teaching experience, or early childhood education is highly desirable Knowledge of classroom management strategies to maintain an organized and positive learning environment Skills in working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels, including special education needs when applicable Strong communication skills to effectively instruct students and collaborate with colleagues and parents Join us as a Ballet Teacher and become a vital part of nurturing young artists' talents while fostering a vibrant community dedicated to creative arts education.
