In this role, you will showcase your diverse dance skills, collaborate with fellow artists, and captivate audiences through compelling choreography and lively stage presence. Your passion for dance and performance will inspire audiences and elevate the entertainment experience at our venue. Responsibilities Perform a variety of dance styles including hip hop, ballet, contemporary, jazz, and partnering dance techniques to entertain live audiences. Collaborate with choreographers, fellow performers, and production teams to develop engaging routines and innovative performances. Engage with audiences during live shows through energetic movement, facial expressions, and interaction to create memorable experiences. Teach dance and movement classes or workshops, sharing expertise in dance instruction, yoga, acting, and visual & performing arts with students of all ages. Assist in the creation of original choreography and musical improvisation compositions that enhance performance themes. Maintain high energy levels throughout performances while adhering to safety protocols and stage directions. Support promotional activities by participating in rehearsals, rehearsing new routines, and helping with event setup as needed. Experience Proven experience performing in theater productions or live dance shows with a focus on audience engagement for live performances. Demonstrated ability to perform multiple dance styles including hip hop dance performance, ballet, contemporary dance performance, jazz dance, cheerleading, and partnering techniques. Experience teaching visual & performing arts or dance instruction to diverse age groups and skill levels. Strong background in choreography creation and musical improvisation composition. Familiarity with acting techniques and working with students or community groups to foster artistic growth. Previous experience collaborating with artists across disciplines such as theater, music, or visual arts is highly valued. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends in a lively entertainment environment.
