Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, spiritually mature Christian leader to inspire and lead our vibrant arts education community. This individual is responsible for developing, leading, and overseeing the CtC Arts Academy. This role requires a creative and collaborative individual who will fulfill the church's mission through inspiring and educating CtC's constituents in music and the arts. The academy will nurture the talents of emerging artists and provide performance opportunities. The successful candidate will oversee and administer daily operations while ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication across all departments.

Part-time, salaried (15-20 hours expected weekly)
Role & Responsibilities Arts Academy Direction Program Oversight:
o Develop, direct, and manage the church's Arts Academy, including curriculum development for music, drama, visual arts, and other creative disciplines. o Actively enroll students into the arts program. o Collaborate with educators, volunteers, and external partners to provide a diverse range of artistic and spiritual enrichment programs. o Manage business infrastructure including licensing, scheduling, payment apparatus, and staffing as needed. o Spearhead promotion efforts, including (but not limited to) social media marketing as well as local school and church connections.
Event & Workshop Coordination:
o Organize, host, and oversee arts-related events, such as recitals, coffee houses, showcases, concerts, workshops, and theater productions that engage both the church community, other ministries, and the broader public. o Evaluate and continuously improve program offerings to meet the evolving needs of participants. o Plan and direct, in collaboration with the SACC Summer Camp program leaders, a week-long Music Arts Camps for elementary students.
Administrative & Operational Management Office & Budget Management:
o Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to budgetary guidelines. o Assist in preparing reports, managing calendars, and coordinating with other church departments.
Collaboration:
o Work closely with the church leadership to align ministry goals with the overall vision of the church. o Represent the church at external events, community gatherings, and relevant ministry forums.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Spiritual Maturity:
o A strong personal faith and a commitment to living out Christian values in all areas of life.
Arts & Education Background:
o Experience in arts education, creative program management, or a related field is highly desirable.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups within the church community.
Organizational Abilities:
o Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Educational Background:
o A degree in music, ministry, arts administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. o Proficient in the use of MS Office, ProPresenter, and sound system operations. Additional Responsibilities as assigned.
Pay:
$21,000.00 per year
