Protestant Music Director (Part-Time) - Dover Air Force Base, DE Job Summary Get It Done Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Part-Time Protestant Music Director to support the Protestant Chapel Program at Dover Air Force Base The Music Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading music for Protestant worship services while supporting the spiritual mission of the Chapel through excellence in music ministry. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Protestant Chaplain, worship team members, volunteers, and chapel staff to provide meaningful worship experiences for military members, their families, and the broader chapel community. Responsibilities Plan and lead music for weekly Protestant worship services and approved special services. Lead congregational singing and provide music direction for vocalists and musicians. Coordinate music selections with the Chaplain, who has final approval of worship music. Conduct at least one weekly rehearsal with the worship team or choir. Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteer musicians and vocalists. Work with the musician to prepare for worship services and rehearsals. Maintain music lists, service plans, and other required program records. Coordinate with chapel staff on schedules, equipment needs, and music resources. Qualifications At least two years of experience leading, planning, and performing music in a Protestant congregational worship setting. Proficiency playing acoustic guitar, leading congregational singing, and playing from chord charts or lead sheets. Familiarity with traditional hymns, gospel, and contemporary Christian worship music. Ability to work effectively with chaplains, musicians, volunteers, and chapel staff. Fluency in English. Ability to provide a signed letter from a current pastor or church leader, dated within the last 60 days, confirming active membership in good standing in a Protestant Christian congregation. Ability to meet applicable background check and installation access requirements. Piano proficiency, including sight reading traditional and contemporary worship music, is highly preferred. Military chapel experience is welcome but is not required. Schedule Part-time Approximately 3-4 hours per week One weekly rehearsal and one Sunday worship service Additional hours during holidays and special religious events
