Woodbine Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Worship Leader to lead and develop our worship ministry while serving alongside our Pastor, staff, and church family. We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, has a heart for worship, and enjoys leading and developing others. The Worship Leader will help plan and lead weekly worship services, work with our praise teams, musicians, youth band, and sound teams, and recruit and equip volunteers. This role will also help coordinate music for special services and events and provide general oversight of our music and technical resources. We are looking for someone who: Has an evident and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated through the fruit of their lifeIs able to lead effectively while working well with othersHas strong interpersonal and communication skillsIs sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and grounded in ScriptureBrings energy, enthusiasm, and excitement to worship ministryIs flexible, dependable, teachable, and willing to serve wherever neededHas a heart for developing and encouraging volunteersHas good musical and organizational skillsA Southern Baptist or conservative evangelical background is preferred, along with ministry and/or worship leadership experience. A college or seminary degree is preferred but not required.
