Duties Lead praise and worship music during church services, ensuring a spirited and reverent atmosphere Conduct church choir rehearsals, guiding vocalists and musicians to deliver inspiring performances Select appropriate music for services, special events, and seasonal celebrations that align with liturgical themes Manage musical productions, including coordinating rehearsals, sound checks, and stage setups for various church events Provide vocal training and mentoring to choir members and congregation volunteers to enhance their musical skills Play piano or other musical instruments during services to support musical arrangements and congregational singing Oversee the management of music teams, including recruiting, scheduling, and fostering teamwork among musicians and singers Qualificationns Strong knowledge of musical liturgical practices and religious traditions relevant to worship settings Ability to read sheet music fluently and perform vocal music with technical proficiency Skilled in vocal training, mentoring, and developing choir members' talents Familiarity with playing piano or other instruments commonly used in worship environments Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clergy, staff, volunteers, and congregation members Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive worship environment Embark on a meaningful journey where your musical gifts serve a higher purpose.
