RSO Music Director and Conductor Description:
The Music Director's duties include, but are not limited to: preparation of 3 concerts (November, March and May), overseeing rehearsals, attending Board of Directors meetings as an ex officio member, assisting in Community Outreach projects, and overseeing the audition process for perspective musicians.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should: be an experienced orchestral conductor, be able to coach and advise all orchestra sectons relating to music, demonstrate a track record ofanized, well coordinated rehearsals, show a willingness to address audiences with warmth and excitement, and inspire players to perform to high levels while fostering a positive environment.
