Aug 24, 2026 Job Description The Southern Berkshire Regional School District is looking for a Choral Director for Mr. Everett Middle and High School and Undermountain Elementary. This position is for Grades 3-12 and applicants should be comfortable working with students at a variety of ages and ability levels. Position includes:- One curricular HS ensemble
- One curricular Junior High Ensemble
- Male Pop A Capella ensemble, extra-curricular; Female Pop A Capella ensemble
- Madrigal ensemble, extra-curricular
- One semester of History of Rock and Roll
- One semester of piano class
- Five curricular elementary ensembles
Other Responsibilities:
- Prepare and chaperone high school and junior high students for District Honors and All-State ensembles
- Aid in the administrative development of the choral department, i.e., fund raising projects, working with booster organization, and other activities that promote the department
- Execute the music curriculum within the choral rehearsal classroom, at all levels
Position Qualifications:
- Strong piano skills; strong vocal pedagogy skills, Experience in arranging for vocal ensembles
- Ability to play a rock and roll instrument preferred, but not required
