Theater - One Act Play Director
Mt.
Blue Middle School
Job Goal(s):
Choose an age appropriate one act play for middle school students
Hold auditions and cast the play
Conduct rehearsals 2-3 times a week, usually for 1.5-2 hours from early January to early March
Play is performed the second weekend in March, auditions and subsequent rehearsals should start at the beginning of January or just before winter break in December.
Usually 15-25 kids
Qualifications
Candidates should be energetic, flexible, knowledgeable in theatre, comfortable with middle school students, good communicators, exhibit healthy boundaries, etc. Certifications
Valid CHRC
Performance Responsibilities
Has a thorough knowledge of all the student conduct and co-curricular policies approved by the Mt. Blue District Schools' Board of Education and is responsible for their implementation. Education
The Director must be at least 20 years of age, or a high school graduate.
Experience
Have prior experience in community or school theater.
Working Schedule
Flexible after school hours required for this position, including weekends as necessary/scheduled.

$1,017

Building Administration

As determined annually by the District.

Completed annually by Building Administration
