Job Description

The qualified candidate will be a data-driven and donor-centered fundraiser who thrives in a highly cross-functional, flexible, and relational culture. Essential experience includes working with volunteer leaders and high-level prospects.

The ideal candidate will have:

Understanding of the Winston-Salem community

At least three years of proven fundraising experience

Knowledge of and appreciation for church and church culture

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent

Donor database experience preferred with familiarity in ACS being highly desirable

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, MS Excel

Ability to learn new applications quickly

Crucial knowledge and skills for this role include strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; flexibility as a team player who believes in excellent customer service; the ability to manage multiple projects, to work independently and to take initiative on new projects; a high degree of organization and attention to detail; and discretion in handling confidential information. Strong project management skills are essential.

Working Hours:

M-Th 8:30-4:30 | F 8:30-3:30 | Flexibility required to accommodate events

Salary:

Compensation conversation begins at $90,000 with consideration given to experience, including full benefits and pension
