Part-Time Music Director Arlington Street United Methodist Church Nashua, NH Job Details Part-time $150 a week 9 hours ago Qualifications Piano Church choir conducting Hymn music Church service musical performance experience Music director experience Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Director to lead the music in our church services and inspire our community through the power of music. This role involves working closely with the pastor to plan and lead the music worship for Sunday worship and special services during the year including Christmas, Easter and Holy Week. Pay is $150 per service. Key Responsibilities Select vocal and instrumental music for each of the services Schedule and hold choir rehearsals Direct and accompany the choir on piano during Sunday and other services Worship service music typically consists of prelude, hymns, responses, offertory, choir anthem and postlude.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in music direction or a related field Piano accompaniment experience Demonstrated leadership abilities A passion for fostering a love of music within the community, with an emphasis on inclusivity and collaboration. Familiarity with Christian/church musical styles is preferred.
