Job Description

MBS seeks an experienced Upper and Middle School leave replacement choral director to join the Performing Arts Department. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of passion, innovation, and creativity that inspires students in grades 6-12. The School values individuals that are collaborative and committed to student-centered instruction and life-long learning.
The successful candidate will:
Demonstrate superior content knowledge Encourage a culture of mutual respect and equitable practice. Teach Upper School and Middle School chorus classes. Prepare students for annual choral performances. Produce the Upper School play and musical productions. Direct the Middle School musical. Exhibit knowledge of student cognitive development and various learning styles. Communicate effectively with students and families about classroom activities and student progress Showcase student work within the community. Scaffold instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities Be available to work some evenings and weekends when require.
