You love people, are a skilled teacher/song-leader, know how to facilitate transcendent moments of worship, and can creatively collaborate with others. You will see this role as a ministry and calling, not just a job. Who We Are We are Good Samaritan Church — a progressive, open and affirming congregation of both the United Church of Christ and Presbyterian Church (USA). We are currently entering an exciting new season. We just relocated into a cafe space and are reimagining worship around a more intimate, participatory, community-centered "brunch church" model. We believe worship should feel less like a performance people watch and more like a shared experience people create together. What does following Jesus mean to us? Building beloved community. Loving our neighbors. Embracing and celebrating diversity. Practicing anti-racism. Offering extravagant hospitality. Advocating for the vulnerable. Feeding the hungry. Sharing meals. Risking ourselves for the sake of another. Leaning into hope. Savoring life together. If that sounds like the kind of community you want to help nurture, you may be a wonderful fit with us.
