Musical Theatre Vocal Director (Part Time)

•Brooks Center for the Performing Arts Part Time

JR-10738 JOB SUMMARY

Vocal music director for a Clemson Players musical production. Auditions to take place in October 2026, with the show running during the Spring semester 2027. This is a short-term position (October 2026

•February 2027) focusing on vocal direction of the musical, Urinetown. Performs other duties as assigned.

•Under the supervision of the Director, Becky Becker, direct vocal talent for the musical from rehearsals through production run in conjunction with the director of instrumental music, Kim Souther. 10%

•Aid in the casting of vocal talent through the audition process scheduled for early October, 2026

INFORMATION

Expected Salary Range 6000

•6000 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

Normal Operations

•Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
