  • Wedding & Event Musician (Huntsville, AL) Join the South's largest network of professional string musicians.
Southern Strings is expanding our roster in the Huntsville/North Alabama area, and we're looking for exceptional violinists to perform at luxury weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Since 2021, Southern Strings has become one of the largest professional string music networks across the South, performing hundreds of weddings and events each year throughout Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Virginia, Ohio, and beyond. What You'll Do Perform as in duos, trios, and string quartets. Play ceremonies, cocktail hours, corporate events, and private parties. Receive professionally prepared sheet music and event details before each performance. Accept only the gigs that fit your schedule—there is no minimum commitment. We're Looking For Professional-level violinists with excellent musicianship. Strong sight-reading skills. Reliable transportation and professionalism. Wedding and/or orchestral performance experience preferred. A degree in music performance or equivalent professional experience is a plus. Why Southern Strings? Competitive per-event pay.
