As a contract worship leader, you will help lead Christ-centered, biblically rich congregational worship in a blended style that includes traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs, typically supported by acoustic guitar and/or piano.

Role & Duties:

‪Lead Sunday morning rehearsal/soundcheck and one worship service, typically from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Lead worship using acoustic guitar and/or piano. ‪Coordinate with the associate pastor and music director to prepare and lead songs selected in advance, along with Scripture readings, transitions, keys, arrangements, and worship-related service needs. ‪Work with other musicians, vocalists & tech teams to ensure an edifying service. Introduce songs, Scripture readings, and transitions in a clear and edifying manner. Remain present through the service and lead any closing song or final worship element as planned. Lead worship for occasional church events and special services by mutual agreement.

Qualifications:

‪A growing relationship with Christ and a life consistent with biblical Christ-like character. Agree and align with Immanuel Bible's statement of faith. Strong musical and vocal background with ability to lead congregational worship. Possess basic knowledge and experience in audio engineering. Comfortable using ProPresenter and CCLI/SongSelect for lyrics, chords, and Sunday service preparation. Reliable, prepared, humble, teachable, and able to work well with pastors, musicians, vocalists, and tech volunteers. Familiarity with contemporary worship and traditional hymns. Willingness to provide references and complete a background check.

Oversight:

This role serves under the oversight of the senior pastor, associate pastor, and elders, with regular coordination through the associate pastor and music director.

Compensation:
