The show is about saying goodbye to childhood. A childlike imagination and innocence should be prominent in all elements of the show.

LOGLINE:
Eight high school theatre students work on their graduation performance under the guidance of their beloved drama teacher as they all grapple with leaving behind childhood.
SUMMARY:
BLACK BOX
is an original play about the weeks leading up to graduation in a high school's theatre department. A month before the big day, the seniors are tasked with an unexpected turn of events, testing theirmitment to their drama teacher, the theatre, and themselves. Through the eyes of the high schoolers, we begin to understand what truly matters once you grow up, what you choose to take away from your childhood, and what refuses to go.
