Job Description
Catholic Mass Musician - Piano/Organ (Part-Time) - Eglin Air Force Base Job Summary Get It Done Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Catholic Mass Musician to support Catholic worship services at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida . This is a part-time contract opportunity supporting the Catholic faith community through musical accompaniment for Sunday Masses, weekly rehearsals, and designated Holy Days and special services. Responsibilities Provide musical accompaniment on piano and/or organ for Catholic Masses. Coordinate appropriate music selections with the Catholic Priest and Catholic Mass Choir Director. Accompany congregational and choir music during worship services. Participate in and/or support weekly rehearsals. Learn and perform new hymns and liturgical music as needed. Provide musical support for designated Holy Days and special Catholic services. Assist with musical equipment and setup as required. Work collaboratively with clergy, choir members, volunteers, chapel staff, and other members of the faith community. Arrive sufficiently early for scheduled services and rehearsals to ensure readiness. Qualifications Demonstrate proficiency accompanying worship services on piano and/or organ. Have working knowledge of music used in Catholic worship and liturgy. Be able to learn new hymns, songs, and musical arrangements. Be in good standing with a Catholic parish. Be able to obtain a Letter of Sustainability from their Catholic parish. Be available for both Sunday Masses and required rehearsals. Be willing and able to successfully complete required installation/background screening. Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and the ability to work effectively in a religious and military environment. Schedule Part-time - approximately 4 hours per week, with additional hours for occasional special services
