Part-time Responsibilities :

Work closely with pastoral team in determining worship style and song selection. Create song slides for worship service. Song slides are to be turned into Lead Faith Group Chaplain or designee weekly at a predetermined time. Lead praise team and/or congregational singing at 0930 Protestant Gospel Service and special Holy Day services. Conduct and lead weekly choir rehearsals. Continually upgrade and maintain the music library and songs used in the worship service. Comply with all copyright licensing agreement standards. Recruit volunteer musicians and choir members.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in music or a minimum of four years' experience directing and playing for worship services with an emphasis on Gospel and/or Contemporary Christian music. Must believe and adhere to the basic tenants of the Protestant Christian faith. Ability to play a musical instrument and lead worship simultaneously. Ability to play guitar and/or keyboard (other instruments as approved by Lead Faith Group Chaplain). Ability to perform accompaniment with multiple musicians. Understand and have ability to play various forms of music that are appropriate for a blended worship service.
