Pianist/keyboardist for church Riverview UMC Riverview, FL Job Details Part-time | Contract $20 - $30 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Organ playing Religious music performance experience Piano Entry level Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a Pianist/Keyboardist to join our praise band, and potentially also support our choir. The ideal candidate will bring musical knowledge, and a heart dedicated to ministry through music. Duties Lead congregational singing by playing piano and keyboard instruments with enthusiasm and precision Accompany band/choir rehearsals and performances Read sheet music fluently and adapt to musical improvisations during services or events
Experience Required:
Ability to read sheet music or at minimum support singers by playing chords
Required:
Reliability to attend services and practices
Preferred:
experience performing religious music in a church or similar spiritual setting, demonstrating familiarity with hymns, gospel music, and contemporary Christian repertoire Join us in creating inspiring worship experiences through energetic performance and heartfelt musical expression. Pay:
