Choral Section Leader - Tenor The Episcopal Church of St. Peter and St. Paul Marietta, GA Job Details Part-time $130 a week 3 hours ago Qualifications Choral worship music conducting Music Religious music performance experience Choral group performance experience Vocal training Full Job Description One staff singer for tenor Rehearse (Wed. 7:30-9:00 pm) with volunteer adult choir Lead worship on Sun. mornings (9:45 warm-up; 10:30 service) Customary "Holy Days" and other special occasions for an Episcopal Church Good vocal skills, good sight-reading skill, blending ability, reliability, accountability Traditional vocal training required; music degree (or path toward one) desirable $130 per normal week; normal week consists of 2 calls (Wed. eve. and Sun. morning.) Full pay contingent upon fulfillment of two-call obligation in a normal week. Extra calls expected at customary church holidays such as Christmas Eve, Holy Week, and Easter Sunday. Experience in a choral ensemble desired Sing solo/cantor parts on occasion as needed Positive attitude required
