Duties Provide live piano accompaniment during worship services, ensuring seamless musical flow and harmony. Perform music for choir performances, soloists, and congregational singing, including hymns, contemporary worship songs, and moderate complexity choir anthems. Assist in rehearsals by practicing with choir members or instrumentalists to ensure cohesive performances. Requirements Prior experience in religious music performance preferred. Strong knowledge of musical liturgy, hymn music, and various music genres blending seamlessly during services. Ability to read sheet music fluently and improvise or compose arrangements to suit different worship themes. Skilled in playing the piano and/or organ; proficiency with guitar, drums, or other instruments is a plus. Experience with concert music performance to bring a high level of professionalism to church events. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with church leadership and congregation members. Attendance at worship service on Sunday morning and choir practice on Wednesday evening as well as up to four special services in the course of a year. Compensation Starting at $150 per week with some flexibility for the right candidate.
