The Music Room is looking for a Part-Time Accompanist and Music Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This individual will provide accompaniment for student rehearsals, performances, and recitals, as well as offer individualized coaching to enhance students' musical abilities. This contracted position will play a crucial role in preparing students for various musical engagements and fostering their growth as musicians.
Compensation:
$32-40 per hour (based on experience and education)

Responsibilities:
Provide piano accompaniment for rehearsals, performances, and recitals Collaborate with music teachers to support student progress Offer individual and group coaching sessions focused on technique, interpretation, and performance skills Assist in preparing students for auditions, competitions, and recitals Maintain a professional and supportive environment that encourages musical excellence
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field preferred Proven experience as an accompanist and music coach Strong proficiency in piano performance Strong sight-reading skills across a variety of musical genres Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and skill levels Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
