Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and dependable Church Pianist to join our music ministry. This part-time position is ideal for pianists looking for a rewarding, short weekly commitment that makes a meaningful impact. You will provide live piano music to enrich our blended Sunday morning service and support our Praise Team.
Pay & Schedule:
Rate:
$70 flat rate per Sunday morning.
Hours:
1.5 hours per week
Schedule:
Sunday mornings from 9:30 AM to 11:00
AM Responsibilities:
Play live piano music for the service, including the prelude, postlude, offertory, and communion as needed. Accompany hymns on the piano alongside our Praise Team (consisting of two singers) as they lead the congregation. Collaborate flexibly within a blended worship service format that utilizes both live piano music and pre-recorded tracks. You will not be required to use the pre-recorded music. Prepare designated service music, which will be provided to you one week in advance. Play for occasional special services (e.g., holidays) upon request and based on availability.
Qualifications:
High proficiency in playing hymns and church music on the piano. Ability to sight-read or prepare provided piano music efficiently within one week. Strong collaborative skills and a flexible attitude toward blended worship styles. Reliable and punctual attendance on Sunday mornings.
