Rehearsals:

Wednesdays evenings (time and day may vary depending on upcoming Holy Days, e.g. Christmas);

Mass:

Saturdays at 4:30pm and/or Sundays 9 AM (the choir mostly gathers at 4pm or 8:30am, but call time could be earlier for some days) and Holy Days from the week after Labor Day to Corpus Christi, or the first week of June. The choir is generally off one week per month and in the summer. Qualifications Possess or be in pursuit of a Bachelor's of Music, Masters of Music in Vocal Performance or Music Education, or have the equivalent in choral singing experience or private vocal study. Possess excellent ability in sight-reading, learning music quickly and vocal technique. Familiarity with Gregorian chant notation and style is preferred (mostly for English Communion Antiphons), but sufficient training will be provided to those for whom this is a new skill. Knowledge of lyric diction for Ecclesiastical Latin as well as of English, and the possibility of Spanish. Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Reliable and prompt communication skills. Comfort with singing repertoire one-on-a-part. Be able to attend most rehearsals and masses. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Work in conjunction with other section leaders.
