This position plays an important role within the operations of our cocurricular music program. They will follow the lead of our Director of Cocurricular Music and assist in the development of the choir.

This position will:

Play full and sectional accompaniment; provide high-level musical instruction assistance in notes, rhythms, and phrasing, as needed. Accompany University Choir during warm-ups, rehearsals, at concerts, and other special events. Collaborate with the director on decisions regarding rehearsal direction, hiring/auditioning soloists and extra musicians as needed, recruitment initiatives, and aesthetic choices within chosen repertoire. Maintain a high level of professionalism in all communications with students and the director. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree Experience as an accompanist. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree Extensive experience as an accompanist

Hourly wage is $40.00 - $80.00 depending on qualifications and experience.
