In this role, you will contribute your musical expertise to create an engaging and spiritually enriching environment, fostering a sense of community and devotion. Your passion for music and ability to perform across various genres will be essential in leading our congregation in heartfelt praise and worship. Responsibilities Prepare instrumental music for worship services, including special services. Play for all worship services, including special services. These include but are not limited to: Christmas Eve, Easter, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday. Practice with the praise team each week to prepare for worship in the next week. Other duties that enhance the music ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church as assigned by the pastor or praise team leader. Requirements Ability to read music and play bass, drums, guitar, or another instrument. Comfortable playing for online worship as each Sunday is livestreamed. Ability to work well with others and be part of a team. Ability to give and receive constructive criticism. Ability to promote harmony in the workplace by maintaining good working relationships and supporting church/pastor/staff decisions. Ability to offer creative input for services to enhance the Spirituality of the worship service.
